The Directorate General of Immigration has expanded the reach of the Electronic Visa on Arrival (eVoA) program through a collaboration with the Indonesian-based company PT Visi Globalindo Data Utama (VIS). A total of 4,345 eVoAs have reportedly been issued via the VIS Global platform from January to May 2025.

The Riau Islands Immigration Office, in collaboration with an organization that supports people with disabilities, is hosting a dedicated passport service program called “Eazy 1000 Passport” at Grand Batam Mall on May 15.
